With a background as a CPA, CFO, and CEO, Richard has tackled complex organizational challenges, enabling him to empathize with the struggles faced by grassroots organizations and community initiatives. He works closely with key stakeholders, to ensure the Foundation effectively supports sustainable solutions for food, shelter, medical care, and housing distress and make a lasting impact on the communities the foundation serves.

Kris Laski
Kris Laski is a dedicated humanitarian with an enduring commitment to aiding refugees and displaced communities. After being deeply moved by the plight of refugees in various parts of the world, she took the initiative to personally visit and support refugee camps, forging meaningful connections with the people she met. Co-founder of Winter Cornerstone, Kris has championed several initiatives aimed at not only providing material aid but also fostering genuine relationships and understanding. With a background in non-profit ventures and program management, she continually strives to create impactful change in the lives of those she serves.

Omar AZIZI
Omar understands the refugee problems from lived experience, and his humanitarian initiatives have been recognized by President Obama. He has extensive experience in business development, program management, and non-profit initiatives focused on refugee resettlement and interfaith dialogue. Omar holds a degree in Business from the University of Southern California.

Michael Soehner
Michael Soehner is more than just an advocate for refugees; he's an "on-the-ground" presence, making tangible differences wherever he goes. His unwavering dedication has seen him walk the paths of Greek islands like Chios, offering support to refugees in camps. Among his significant endeavors is his yearly commitment since 2021 to Afghanistan, where he champions the cause of single/widowed women and orphans, ensuring they receive vital medicines, food, and shelter. Throughout his humanitarian journey, Michael remains deeply appreciative, finding fulfillment in every opportunity to positively impact the lives of displaced people.
